Promising Practices for Working with Convicted Children

Compendium

Experience exchange is one of the pillars of the ARISA Child project, representing a key approach to enhancing the competencies of professionals engaged with convicted children. This compendium aims to promote the cross-border exchange and dissemination of experience and promising practices in the field of juvenile corrections. It presents a curated collection of selected examples of training programs and practical tools designed to support juvenile justice staff, especially correctional personnel, in upholding the high standards of child-friendly execution of both custodial and non-custodial sanctions. Intended to serve as a valuable resource, it offers practical recommendations for prison and probation administration and personnel, as well as other professionals involved in implementing measures imposed on minors.

The compendium is available in English, Bulgarian, Greek, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese.
