CSD, as part of the support team of European Labour Authority, is developing a series of papers, analyses and toolkits, aimed at sharing good practices and experiences on tackling undeclared work among the Member States. In the period 2016-2021, CSD performed this research in support of the European Platform tackling undeclared work. The analyses focused on a number of topics, including: the use of bilateral agreements for cross-border cooperation, risk assessments for more efficient inspections, the role of social partners, development of awareness-raising campaigns, efficient penalty measures, methods for tackling bogus self-employment and fraudulent letterbox companies.
