My internship at CSD's Economic Program provided me with an exceptional opportunity to delve into critical issues surrounding corruption, state capture, and foreign influence. I highly endorse this experience to individuals interested in understanding these complex dynamics. Throughout my internship, I gained valuable insights into the EU accession processes of the Western Balkans and the challenges associated with them. A central focus of my work was exploring the connections between strategic corruption, foreign influence, and the effects of illicit financial flows.
Of particular significance was the multifaceted nature of my responsibilities, which encompassed both qualitative and quantitative tasks. This comprehensive approach enriched my educational journey and equipped me with a diverse skill set. My internship at CSD enabled me to acquire professional skills and knowledge that will undoubtedly be instrumental in shaping my future endeavours.
Working alongside Daniela and other experts of the Economic Program was a great experience. Their expertise and dedication served as a constant source of inspiration. Despite the demanding workload, the working atmosphere at CSD was consistently positive and cordial. All in all, I loved the international vibe of CSD and getting to know colleagues from around the world. The internship was a great experience!
