During my time at CSD I gained valuable insights into the workings of a think tank.  A highlight of my internship was conducting comprehensive research on the implementation of European regulations in Bulgaria. This multifaceted project involved analysing data and evaluating the compliance of major platforms with regulations, providing insights into international regulatory frameworks. My involvement in literature reviews on disinformation dynamics and research on problematic media outlets further improved my analytical skills.

Furthermore, I was involved in a project that focused on analysing the implementation of the Code of Practice on Disinformation by major online platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, or X. Another project that I particularly enjoyed involved researching and writing a literature review on disinformation and contemporary media capture dynamics in Romania.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the Economic program, and I am grateful to Todor and Goran for their valuable insights and assistance whenever I had questions about any project. One thing I will miss a lot is the atmosphere in the library and the time I spent with other interns and colleagues, either inside or outside the office. I am genuinely pleased with my experience at the CSD, and I highly recommend this internship to anybody who wants to be part of a great team and have an interesting experience in Bulgaria.
