Biography
Vladimir Yordanov is co-founder and executive director of CSD. His responsibilities include overall management and administration, sustainability issues , etc. He is also manager of the CSD wholly -owned commercial venture Project One Ltd. Project One is both a property management company and a vehicle for participation in EU-supported and other consultancy projects , which require operation under commercial registration. Mr. Yordanov is also Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Applied Research and Communications Fund, the leading Bulgarian innovation policy and research institut e established in 1991.
Mr. Yordanov has supervised a range of research and advocacy projects in the fields of social and economic reform, communications diversity, safer internet for children, automation and bioinstrumentation, biotechnology with the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Open Society Fund, Vitosha Radio, CSD and ARC Fund
Mr. Yordanov has studied at the Technical University in Dresden and the Herder Institute in Leipzig, Germany. He has also done a number of fellowships with various organizations including the Institute of Physics of the Academy of Sciences, Moscow, VOA Europe, Washington DC, Salzburg Seminar, Austria, US Telecommunications Training Institute, Washington, DC, International Development Law Organization, Rome, and others.
