Biography
Radostina is a Senior Associate in the Climate & Sustainability team at Global Counsel in Brussels where she supports corporate and investor clients in understanding the risks and opportunities of quickly evolving regulatory areas including the Fit for 55 legislative package, critical raw materials, building renovation, recycling requirements, waste, chemicals, and resource strategies globally.
Previously, she was a Senior Analyst at CSD’s Energy and Climate Program where she participated in several Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe research projects and EUKI initiatives on energy transition governance, energy efficiency, innovative financial instruments for small-scale renewable energy projects, social acceptance of green technologies, and decarbonisation scenarios for the European Green Deal. She is a core group member and an Action leader on the development of methodologies for the design of just transition projects of the Working Group “Horizontal Stakeholder Strategy” of the Just Transition Platform set up by the European Commission. Radostina provided policy advice for the Bulgarian government and contributed to the capacity building of civil society organisations and governments in the CEE region on the development of their strategic energy and climate documents including the National Energy and Climate Actions Plans (NECPs), the National Recovery and Resilience Plans (NRRPs) and the Territorial Just Transition Plans (TJTPs).
