Biography

Jakub Weiner is an Associate Fellow at CSD, focusing on geoeconomics, state capture, information integrity, and energy security. He brings over a decade of experience at the intersection of economic analysis, security strategy, and data science, applying quantitative methods to complex policy and business challenges.

He holds a Master’s degree in Mathematical and Statistical Methods in Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in National Economy and Security Studies from Masaryk University. His recent research, published in leading journals and a book chapter, has explored the optimisation of decision-making processes in crisis situations.

Jakub has led analytical teams through his own advisory practice as well as in roles at KPMG, Data Mind, and other organisations, delivering Business Intelligence and Data Analytics solutions to top-tier clients across EMEA and the USA. Alongside his consulting work, he lectures in Applied Data Science at Masaryk University, combining academic insight with practical experience to equip future professionals with evidence-based decision-making skills.
