Biography

Iliana Boycheva works as an Analyst at the Law Program of the Center for the Study of Democracy. Her research focuses on criminal justice, domestic violence, protection of fundamental rights and the rule of law.

She is involved in projects in the field of child-friendly justice, violence against women, the rule of law acquis communautaire, and fundamental rights protection, including those related to AI.

Since September 2022 Iliana is the Country Reporter for Bulgaria of the CELIS Institute on the Screening of Foreign Direct Investments.

Prior to joining the CSD team, Iliana worked in the private sector. In 2021 she interned at the Sofia City Court.
