Biography

German Rueda Orejarena is an associate fellow at the Energy and Climate Program of CSD. He is involved in research and policy initiatives in the fields of just transition, climate change adaptation and mitigation, and climate justice. In particular, he has worked on the Beyond GDP initiative of DG Research and Innovation of the European Commission, on the policy context addressing +25 NEETs in the EU and Bulgaria, and on analysing the Russian footprint in Germany and Latin America.

Before joining CSD, German worked as a research interviewer for the Survey of Health, Aging and Retirement in Europe - SHARE in Portugal. His master's thesis analysed the linkage between inequalities and corruption in Colombia.
