Biography
Delyana Doseva is a Senior Analyst at the Law Program of the Center for the Study of Democracy. Her research centers on criminal justice, the protection of fundamental rights, and the rule of law. She contributes to projects on international judicial cooperation, the EU acquis in the areas of rule of law, and fundamental rights protection.

With extensive experience in project management, Delyana has been actively engaged in every stage of the process—from drafting project proposals and overseeing administrative coordination to conducting empirical research, fieldwork, and data analysis, as well as developing and delivering training programs.

Prior to joining the Center for the Study of Democracy, Delyana specialized in the field of better regulation and regulatory reform, contributing to numerous legislative impact assessments, policy evaluations, and public consultations for the Bulgarian government. Delyana has extensive experience in the assessment of the effectiveness of legal frameworks, the analysis of regulatory policies, and efforts to align them with good governance principles. Her work included conducting ex-ante and ex-post impact assessments, developing evidence-based recommendations, and facilitating stakeholder engagement in decision-making processes.
