Biography

Anna Filipova is an analyst for the Energy and Climate Program of the Center for the Study of Democracy (CSD). She is involved in several projects in the field of climate and energy policy.

Before joining CSD, Anna worked in the private sector, managing operations at a renewable energy projects implementation company, where she gained valuable insight into the legal and policy framework behind decentralised energy generation in Bulgaria. Before coming back to Bulgaria in 2020, she lived and worked in South Africa, where she gained 4 years of experience as a Research Analyst and Project Manager at a local climate change adaptation consultancy. The main focus of her work was the analysis of energy sector regulation and the implementation of measures to alleviate energy poverty.
