The Center for the Study of Democracy held a public presentation of the prototype of the Bulgarian Development Gateway on July 31, 2001.

Representatives of development stakeholders participated in the presentation, including those from NGOs, the donor community, ICT companies and academia.

A networking event was scheduled after the presentation to discuss e-development priorities of the new government. Newly elected ministers and members of parliament attended the reception and had informal dialogue with the diplomatic community, private business and civil society.
