On September 28, 2021, within the framework of a political forum with the participation of Mr. Rumen Radev, President of the Republic of Bulgaria, the Center for the Study of Democracy, together with the Applied Research and Communications Fund presented an Action Agenda for Promoting Constructive Capital and opportunities for unlocking the innovative potential of Bulgaria. The Action Agenda is formulated on the base of the analysis of European and national strategic documents, as well as consultations with key representatives from the private sector in the six planning regions of the country. The resolution of structural issues, related to state capture and upholding the Rule of Law are crucial for the success of the measures promoted by the Agenda. The Agenda also pays special attention to recommendations and reforms in the field of digitalization, green growth, innovation and entrepreneurship – priority areas of the European Recovery and Resilience Facility.
The forum was part of the Bulgarian presidency of the Three Seas Initiative. It was supported and carried out in cooperation with the Center for International Private Enterprise in Washington D.C.
