On February 15, 1999, the OECD Convention on Combating Bribery of Foreign Public Officials in International Business Transactions was enacted. The Convention was drafted by an OECD work group on bribery consisting of representatives of all 29 OECD member states and five non-member countries, including Bulgaria.
