To conduct a comprehensive preliminary impact assessment of the draft Law on Transparency and Integrity in Government, the Minister of Justice published a consultation document and an impact assessment questionnaire for public review on  25 July 2025.

The Centre for the Study of Democracy participated in the consultation process by responding to the questionnaire and submitting a joint statement with the Bulgarian Institute for Legal Initiatives Foundation and the Access to Information Program Foundation.
